Initially started as Hitz Radio on January 16th 2006, this internet radio station broadcast a mix of new music and unsigned music. The website www.hitzradiouk.com was developed to provide a portal by which listeners could connect to the station and as a medium to support the stations brand.
The Hitz brand has now been augmented by the addition of a major record label, the organisation of live events and the development of new media platforms, such as video on demand as well as media advertising.
The Hitz brand now operates in many different sectors on an international level.
